PHPObject - Donations
Hi! Thanks for coming to this page. Glad you made it here. Hopefully, you've come here because you wish to show your support for PHPObject.


History
I started coding PHPObject because I wanted a FlashMX actionscript library that could handle all my client-server data binding; something that I can use for my subsequent projects. When I completed the first version of PHPObject, I was faced with the decision of whether to use it secretly or share it with the community. It wasn't a hard decision. The choice was clear when I realized how much it can benefit the community. I have sinced released it under the GNU LGPL license, making it free for everyone.


Donate to project
If you have tried out PHPObject and like what it can do for you, please consider donating to show your support for the project. Especially if you decide to use it in a commercial project, or find that it has saved you time and money.


Donate to charity
If you wish to donate, but for whatever reasons do not wish the money to come to me, please consider donating to a charity of your choice. If you do so, please kindly drop me an email to let me know the amount and the beneficiary. Just for my own records and for me to accord proper gratitude where it's due.

I am especially in favor of donations to organizations that dispense free or greatly subsidised medical assistance to the underprivileged. Medical science has advanced tremendously throughout human history, but unfortunately, so have the costs of administering and dispensing, and correspondingly of receiving, medical help. Each day many people die or suffer from unfortunate ailments because they are unable to afford the medical bills. Your donations will hopefully help these people and give them a chance to live and to appreciate life, like you do. It will encourage me to continue my work, knowing it has benefitted the less fortunate, albeit indirectly.


Donate time
If you wish to donate, but do not wish to come up with cash, please consider donating time. You can help the project by contributing code that improves the library. You can contribute time, writing a tutorial or article on how PHPObject has benefitted you. You can spend time helping to translate this website to another language. Or, if in a position to do so, you can spend time publicizing the project, so that many more people can benefit from it.

If you choose to donate, whichever way you do it, I appreciate it.
