Teknision Command - Swap Across LayerSwap Across Layer allows you to swap an instance of a symbol on stage with another symbol, but it will do so across the entire layer. This is extremely useful for replacing symbols that are tweened across the timeline. By selecting just one instance of the symbol on a layer, you can apply the command and it will replace all instances. To do so you must also select the library item you want to swap with in the library panel.
Swap Across Layer is also very handy for doing swaps of one frame instances. It saves you having to use the swap button on the properties panel, by allowing you to select the library item right in the library panel.
In order for Swap Across Layer to work correctly, you must ensure that there is only the one symbol on the layer. If there are other elements on the layer then the command will throw an alert and fail.
