Teknision Command - Clean Up LibraryThis command was designed to quickly organize a library in any FLA file. Libraries can easily get messy when working on large projects within teams, creating a nightmare for all that work on the project. Clean Up Library helps your team enforce rules for how libraries should be structured.
When the command is run, a dialog is presented containing many sorting options:
First a sort folder is created. All elements will be moved into this folder. By default it is named :"Organized Elements". You can feel free to name this folder whatever you desire.
The command will then proceed to move all library items to that folder and will place them in subfolders based on their type. eg:(bitmap, movieclip, button, compiledclip, etc).
You can also create a folder that will end up holding badly named elements after the sort. If members of your team have been careless in naming their symbols, you can create a folder to hold these items named "Badly Named Items" by default. You can also fill in a comma delimited list of things to look for in item names that will add them to the "Badly Named" folder. After this is complete you can proceed to coming down hard on your co-worker for doing a sloppy job.
The final sort option is whether or not to include folders in the sort. If this option is not selected then existing folders will not be sorted into the "Organize Items" folder. If it is selected folders will be added.
