Teknision Command - Convert and Distribute

Use the Convert and Distribute Command to simplify the process of bringing graphics from external graphic applications into Flash MX 2004. The command will take all on stage elements and convert the into individual symbols if they aren't already and distributes them to layers. It will name your layers, and symbols appropritely, and even add an instance name to each on-stage element.

 

Used in tandem with the Clean Up Library Command, Convert and Distribute can save hours of production time for designers on every project, and guarantee that developers are getting FLA files that are set up properly for development.

 

To use Convert and Distribute:

  1. Select any elements on stage..
  2. Select Commands>[TEK]-Convert and Distribute.
