This is a picture of Sera drawn in a more detailed, realistic style. This is most likely the final character design that will be used in the actual series. The car in the background is a concept design for Sera's car, which she will acquire at a later point in the series.

Here is a sketch that I drew during school in Spring '05, over the course of about two weeks. It's a picture of one of the settings from the movie, drawn with close attention to detail. I plan on coloring this one using Photoshop sometime soon.

This picture was made for the site's main banner. In this picture, I experimented with creating the line art for my picture by tracing it in Flash (essentially the same way I create the graphics for the actual Flash movie). I sort of messed up the proportions of her face in this one, so I may end up recreating or replacing the site banner with a new picture at some point in the future.

I originally made this one to be the graphic for the site's front page. It's also the first picture I created using the new (and most likely final) design of Sera that will be used in the series. It was also the first finished drawing that I've ever inked with a pen. This made the line art much sharper and made it easier to create a realistic appearance.

This picture was originally created as a pencil sketch, and was later colored and shaded using Adobe Photoshop. The image depicts Sera's exploration of the charred ruins of Times Square in New York City, many years after the war. I chose this location simply because I thought it'd make an interesting scene; it will not actually appear in the Fallen Angel series (which takes place almost entirely in the American southwest).

This is a more recent picture that shows a much-improved version of Sera's character, when compared to the versions used in previous artwork, as well as the Teaser.

This picture was created while I was in the process of animating the Teaser episode. It features some nice details, but the character design still needed a lot of work at this point. I had improved upon the original design by giving Sera a more beat-up, battle-scarred look, but I was still drawing her in a less realistic 'anime' style that seemed out of place with her surroundings. Her outfit also needed a few minor changes.

Here's the second concept sketch, drawn shortly after the first one. The quality of the artwork is slightly better, although it's still a very rudimentary design. This is the version of Sera that I used in the Teaser episode.

Here's the very first concept sketch of Sera. It's not much to look at, but we've all gotta start somewhere, right?
