GhostWire InputField
This Flash component allows you to create classic windows lookalike input fields. It comes packaged with validation Behaviors that can be dragged-n-dropped onto individual input fields to enable validation on the input.

Features Flexible
It is easy to configure the component through its Properties panel; you can set the font, font size, font color (two states), colors of the input field (three states), etc.
Live Preview
The component comes with live preview, allowing you to see in the authoring environment what you will be getting when the movie is published. This makes it easier for you to place visual assets on the Stage as you work.
Multiline Textarea
Create familiar textarea-type input fields simply by scaling the component to the size you want and setting isMultiline in the Properties panel.
Password Mask
The input field can be a password field (masked) by configuring at the Properties panel.
Snap to Pixel
The component snaps to pixel when published, ensuring that it looks crisp and sharp when the movie plays. Usually to achieve this, you need to ensure that you place your movieclips at integer coordinates (no decimal place) during authoring time. This is not necessary with GhostWire components, which will automatically snap to pixel when published. For example, if the component was placed at x coordinate 20.2, when published it will be placed at x coordinate 20.0 instead. In addition, the component also resizes itself to integer widths and heights.
Validation
By using the validation Behaviors that come with this component, you can easily validate user input. Usage is simple - just drag the appropriate validation Behavior from the components panel onto the input field on the Stage. No actionscript is required. You can check for properly formatted email addresses, valid numbers (also checking to ensure the number falls within a specified range), allowed characters, etc. See demo (112KB).
